Simple Assessment

Students could either draw a smiley face if true or a sad face if false. Teacher would say a statement describing the picture with its real color. For example teacher says ‘bananas are kiiro’ or ‘bananas are murasaki’. On the banana picture students draw either happy or sad face. Alternatively students could put a cross or a tick rather than a smiley face.

Advanced Assessment
If you want something a little more challenging. Teacher could use the whole sentence “banana wa murasaki desu” (bananas are purple). Students would then color the fruit the color said by the teacher. This way students won’t know which color belongs where.
