Japanese worksheet suki
Japanese worksheet suki

Using 'Suki' and 'Suki ja nai'

Students cut out their desired piece they want to say they like or don’t like. They glue that in and write their sentence.

I have included two versions, and easy simpler version with added help, and a more complex and difficult version for students of kids who are more able.

apples ga suki desu.
= I like apples.

apples ga suki ja nai desu.
= I don’t like apple

  • Simply adding ‘ja nai’ after suki changes the sentence into a negative.
